A friend of a friend from school, he probably thought I was just playing around and wasn’t actually going to take the picture, hence the rather relaxed expression.

The person in the background is rather nicely (and intentionally—for once!) framed by a little arch in the corner of the room. I seem to remember him saying to the main subject, in relation to me pointing the camera at him: “Ooh! He likes you!”
